Salary: Pay per project.
Job location: Mombasa
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- HR Strategy Development: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with clients’ business goals, ensuring long-term success and organizational growth.
- HR Advisory Services: Offer expert advice on a range of HR issues including workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Policy Formulation & Review: Design, review, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with legal requirements and best practices.
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Advise on and support recruitment strategies, including developing job descriptions, conducting interviews, and ensuring that the right talent is hired for the right positions.
- Performance Management: Provide recommendations on employee performance management systems, including designing appraisal processes, feedback mechanisms, and coaching strategies.
- Training and Development: Assess organizational training needs and design development programs to enhance employee skills, leadership potential, and overall workforce productivity.
- Employee Relations: Assist in resolving employee grievances and conflicts, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Change Management: Guide organizations through transitions, whether they be restructuring, mergers, or shifts in culture or business direction, ensuring smooth HR processes and employee engagement.
- Compliance and Legal Support: Ensure that all HR practices comply with local labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Workforce Analytics: Help clients utilize HR metrics and data to make informed decisions regarding workforce planning, turnover analysis, and employee engagement.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- CHRP is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance regulations in Kenya.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
- Extensive experience in developing HR policies, recruitment strategies, and performance management systems.
- Experience in advising senior leadership teams on HR strategy and organizational development.
