JOB SUMMARY
Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Solar ESS Key Account Executive (SACCOs) to drive direct sales efforts for solar energy storage systems (ESS) within Savings and Credit Cooperative Organizations (SACCOs).
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar and renewable energy sales, with a focus on financial institutions and cooperative markets.
This role requires excellent sales acumen, relationship management, and a deep
understanding of the solar ESS market.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Sales Development:
- Implement sales strategies to grow the adoption of solar ESS within SACCOs.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with SACCOs to facilitate sales and long-term partnerships.
Lead Generation & Conversion:
- Identify potential SACCO partners, generate leads, and close deals.
- Market Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to refine sales approaches.
Product Knowledge:
- Educate SACCO members and leadership on the benefits of solar ESS solutions.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and technical teams to ensure alignment in sales and product strategies.
Performance Tracking:
- Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimize results.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree or Diploma in any related field
- Over 2years of direct sales experience
- Experience of the solar, energy storage or products in the renewable energy industry
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Knowledge of solar ESS technologies and market trends.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
