We worked with Integral Media in a very successful YaKazi programme. I have witnessed firsthand the impact of the Yakazi Platform in transforming opportunities for our youth and women. Between 2021 and 2023, through our partnership with Integral Media Limited and Practical Action, graduates from our vocational training centers were connected to clean energy companies as technicians, sales agents, and entrepreneurs. Over 100 youth – and women-owned enterprises joined the platform, and Yakazi Forums (YABOs) created lasting partnerships with industry. I am especially proud of how this initiative strengthened our institutions, built awareness across communities, and proved that digital tools can truly drive inclusion and economic growth in Baringo.
